Palna Bhog consists of milk items, nagari, dryfruits, fruits, etc. Items should be made according one’s capacity.

Because of this “Virha”, he created this “Ashrya Pad”. At that time, the swaroop of Giridhariji was residing in the palace of Jaisalmer. Therefore Shree Hariraiji Mahaprabhuji presented his internal feeling of Vraj before Shree Giridhariji. At present, Giridhariji still resides in Jaisalmer.

Ans: When Shree Gusaiji went to Jagnnathpuri for the yaatra, he stayed there for six months. Then Bhagvan Shree Jagdish ordered Shree Gusaiji to start the “rathyatra” in Pushtimarg. Shree Gusaiji accepted the order and had the carpenter named Rasa prepare a map of Shree Jagdishji’s rath. After the map was prepared, Shree Gusaiji went back to Adel and had a miniature rath built. Afterwards, he placed Shree Navnitpriyaji on the rath and started celebrating this festival every year. This is how Rathyatra Manorath started in Pushtimarg.

Q. Is sandalwood applied on Thakorji’s body from AkshayaTrutia (Spring)?

Ans: No, it is applied on Thakorji only on Akshaya Trutia. However, it is applied everyday in the summer. Sandalwood should be presented in a silver bunta. In the summer, one day white sandalwood is served; the next day kesari (orange) sandalwood is served (Rotation). At the beginning of “Jeth” month is Rohini Nakshatra (The period of 15 days, when the sun gives off the most heat). During those days, Thakorji wears chandan vagha (clothes), then white malmal vagha along with a thick chandan paste is applied. The chandan paste is applied on Thakorjis hands and feet. Shringar is made from flowers, while beads made out of chandan are turned into malas (necklaces).

Shree Thakorji visited the 1st gopijan early next morning With that bhav in mind, the poem is known as “Khandita”.

Q. Why is “Savdhan” (Alert) called out around the heirs of Shree Vallabhacharya?

Ans: The Acharyas are many times in “Apras” and so no one is allowed to touch them. Upon touching them, they are no longer in “Apras”; therefore, “Savdhan” is called out to make Vaishnavs alert.

Q. What is Charnamrut ? and why should we take it

Charnamrut is Shree Yamunaji’s and Vraj Simantiyos Charan raj(dust). Thakorji has done vihar (roamed) in Shree Yamunaji with his feet. Shreeji still in todays era does vihar. For this reason we take charnamrut to attain bhagvad bhakti.

We take charmnmrut and place it it in our mouth without touching it. By doing this we get the right to perform seva and smaran. Thereafter we place the charnamrut onto our eyes and by doing this we are granted the permissionof doing darshan.
